Kirkham Street

Shortly after acquiring her home, the owner collaborated with us and a design team to enhance the overall functionality and modernity of her living space. She chose to embark on a comprehensive renovation of the main level, which included the creation of an open floor plan and a complete overhaul of the kitchen. The most gratifying moment for the owner upon project completion involved a seemingly minor yet pivotal alteration to the plans – replacing two adjacent windows with a single, larger window. This modification provided unobstructed views of her beautifully landscaped garden from the kitchen. While it necessitated a touch of structural ingenuity to eliminate the supporting post, the engineer successfully executed the change to her satisfaction.
