A burst pipe over a holiday weekend resulted in extensive damage to this Michelin Star sushi restaurant, necessitating a comprehensive remodel—a challenging circumstance for all involved. Amidst the adversity, the owners seized the opportunity to refine any aspects of the original design that didn't quite meet their vision. One truly remarkable moment during the project occurred when two impeccably dressed individuals arrived at the restaurant mid-construction and presented the Michelin star award to the owners. It was a unique experience for me and likely an unprecedented occurrence for the award presenters as well!
